Product Reccomendations

I get asked a lot for product recommendations. I am trying to put everything into one place for you to make it so much easier to find.

GROOMING
The first is the OneIsAll - it's ALL YOU NEED for basic grooming upkeep! I wrote a pretty extensive review on Amazon and you will see a few pics of one of our puppies listed there too, but the bottom line is; basic upkeep, once a week you run the brush (with the unit on) through their fur just to brush them out, charge the base and use the nail grinder and VOILA your weekly chore with no big clean up is DONE! ANNNNDDDD When it comes time to drop coat.... omg this has been a huge asset for us!! We just brush gently through while the vacuum collects all the loosened fur - I no longer have to go over my carpets several times to pick up everything we just brushed out.

Next a pick comb or a metal comb, super basic addition and very easy to manage! I love these for line brushing, makes it so much easier especially during a coat drop!
there is two I prefer
1. https://amzn.to/3BGCt2A
I like this one as its straight forward with two widths, one on each end, but I do find it can be a bit harsh on my... well delicate hands. I have very sensitive hands when it comes to using small objects (yay for getting old) so this-
2. https://amzn.to/3Y8rmaf
is my next best choice! it sits a little nicer in my palm while I am combing.

Shampoos and Conditioners
Tropiclean is a very nice smelling shampoo!! https://amzn.to/3A3USGf

Tropiclean whitening is useful: https://amzn.to/4eHMQlB

A purple shampoo like https://amzn.to/3YpbAJk is a MUST or a whitening one.

Chris Christenson offers a REALLY GOOD Whitening shampoo here: https://amzn.to/3Ufaldl
I use leave in conditioners and sprays when I blow dry the dogs and yes I use "human" products to help: https://amzn.to/4dMDvaH Tresemme is great as well as Fruitus https://amzn.to/4eKUpHU

you don't have to take this step but we have super absorbent, black towels just for the dogs, since we color their fur too, black is the way to go! https://amzn.to/4hbDFLR

Grooming tables are really helpful especially if you can get the dog outside to blow them out during a shed- it's just convinience! https://amzn.to/3Y0LHy4

I use this Blow dryer for my dogs, I like that I can clean the filters at the back by popping off the screens, pulling the furs off, hand rinsing and air drying before putting back on and this really doesn't need to be done all that often if you are using in clean spaces, link https://amzn.to/488u8AU

This is a concentrated bottle- you need an atomizer, mix a bit of Crown Royal and the rest in water and voila- an amazing silky product that helps create the ruff on the coat without feeling like its heavy in sprays! Its super lightweight, in fact the only reason you know its there is because it smells amazing!
https://amzn.to/4h60osC

You will need an atomizer to go with that Crown Royal- https://amzn.to/4dNWCBa this works perfectly and you press the spray button down and as it releases it continues to spray lightly.

Other brushes I use:

a slicker with a self clean feature- https://amzn.to/4f2hQwf

a smaller slicker with nub ends for a slower more comfortable groom- believe me, most prefer this gentler brush- https://amzn.to/3Ymmlfz

rotating pins rake works WONDERS- https://amzn.to/3BVFnR6

Want a dog bath that is mobile so you can use it outside and drain it outside and keep your bathroom from getting - well dogged? This is one I LOVE! https://amzn.to/4dOYY2A
easier on the budget - https://amzn.to/3Y6IVYq
in general looking for something that helps keep the dog in place and grooming easy.

for the sprayer or hose attachment you don't need anything too fancy- I like this one because its easy to hold, there are flow options which make it so you can soak the coat totally,- https://amzn.to/4hagGR6

if you didn't go for the oneisall combo then you may still need a nail trimmer- this is one I have had for years and it hasn't dulled and we are well past 500 grooms now- https://amzn.to/48c49IL

After you trim, I recommend filing- and this is what you need- it has a diamond drill bit so again, no dulling and I've had this one for years and have not had to replace it, as well the light is a bonus! This is so you can see the quik ;)  https://amzn.to/3BGEs72

Teeth Cleaning: https://amzn.to/3Y4IrSB

remember you are NOT A QUALIFIED VETERINARIAN and your dog SHOULD see their vet every 3-5 years for a proper under gum teeth cleaning! This is important- those other cleanings are only above the gumline and will not prevent gum disease and tooth decay! However a toothbrush and paste at home is a really great start :)
