How to apply for a puppy

Here are the steps required in order to qualify as a  Japanese Spitz puppy owner!

1) Filling out this questionnaire: Puppy Application

2) Interview Time: You are making an investment in your furever friend. We want to get to know you and we

want you to get to know us too. Normally this would be done with an interview in our home. However due to

Covid Restrictions this will be done via video call, you can add us to Face Book here: Samaron Arctic Kennels

A call will be 1-2 hours long, please feel free to ask us any questions you would like! It's very informal,

so you won't need to dress up or round up the kids and send them to Grandma's. I want to get to know your

chaos! This helps us determine what kind of puppy will be best suited for your environment.

3) A non-refundable holding fee of $500 is required to reserve a puppy spot.  This fee is returned if

in 730 days/2 years of agreement a puppy is not produced for you. We do not run a backyard breeding program.

We do follow the dogs instincts. We are not producing puppies to meet demand. We selectively choose

our families and which puppy goes to which family. In other circumstances where the buyer chooses NOT TO

receive a puppy, this fee is not refundable. This decision to return a fee or keep the fee is up to our discretion as

the breeder. We only take 4 names per litter. Usually 2-3 litters per year.

4) Signing a NON-BREEDING agreement. As we are working very hard with the other breeders in North

America and across the world. It is extremely important to keep the proper conformation of the dog. Currently

there are very few defects in the Japanese Spitz, and it is extremely important to us to keep it this way.

(In our program, we do not have any current defects!)  You will also be part of the
North American Breeding Program

5) MOST IMPORTANT: You must understand FORCE FREE TRAINING for your dog PRIOR to purchasing
a puppy from us. We encourage you to do independent research about positive reinforcement training.
Japanese Spitz are a sensitive and intuitive breed of dog. Knowing how to positively interact with them, in the
end will reward you with a lifetime of Love from your sweet fluffy Samaron Arctic Japanese Spitz Dog!

Once you are an approved home, we will place you on our wait list.
